Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Private Equity Associate, where you’ll play a pivotal role in analyzing M&A transactions, investment opportunities, and performing critical due diligence for high-impact deals. This remote, expert-level position offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals and provide strategic insights that drive investment decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive due diligence and analyze confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) and supporting deal documentation.
  2. Draft, review, and refine Investment Committee (IC) memos and Board Decks to support decision-making processes.
  3. Navigate complex public filings, financial statements, and dense transaction documents for thorough investment evaluation.
  4. Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to monitor task progress and identify key errors.
  5. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in managing confidential and sensitive information throughout deal processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of experience in private equity or a combination of private equity and investment banking (Associate or Analyst level only).
  2. Expertise in reviewing public filings, conducting M&A or financing transactions, and preparing CIMs/SIMs and due diligence materials.
  3. Strong proficiency with Investment Committee memos and Board Decks, including structuring and presenting complex information clearly.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft precise and compelling narrative for diverse audiences.
  5. Demonstrated ability to dig into long, dense deal documents and synthesize actionable insights.
  6. Unwavering attention to detail and a disciplined, organized approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Fluent/native English proficiency, ideally with exposure to US, UK, or Canadian market dynamics.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Direct exposure to live M&A or complex financing transactions within a reputable PE firm.
  2. Experience in both private equity and investment banking environments.
  3. Familiarity with cross-border deals and sophisticated capital structures.
