Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and develop robust solutions leveraging Node.js, AWS, and cutting-edge AI technologies. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable microservices, collaborating across disciplines, and driving backend excellence in a dynamic, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend services using Node.js and AWS.
2. Architect and implement microservices, ensuring scalability and reliability across distributed systems.
3. Integrate Artificial Intelligence capabilities to enhance product functionality and user experience.
4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align backend solutions with product goals and technical requirements.
5. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and code standards.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend issues to maintain high system availability.
7. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Expert proficiency in Node.js, with proven experience delivering production-grade backend systems.
2. In-depth knowledge of AWS services for application deployment, scalability, and monitoring.
3. Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
4. Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence integration in backend workflows.
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
6. Proven ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote, distributed team environment.
7. Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
2. Background in building secure, high-availability systems at scale.
3. Previous exposure to Agile development methodologies.
