micro1 is engaging Sherpa Language Experts to participate in a dynamic project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Transcribe video content in the Sherpa language with precise alignment to timestamps for enhanced data accuracy.
2. Analyze and describe the emotionality of speakers, capturing nuances in tone and intent for improved AI interpretability.
3. Edit, review, and refine transcription outputs to ensure linguistic and grammatical accuracy at an expert level.
4. Investigate and define the conceptual meaning of Sherpa terms and expressions, offering deep linguistic insights.
5. Assess and document grammar, vocabulary usage, and syntactic structures within the provided content.
6. Perform complex language tasks such as contextual translation, semantic evaluation, and tone analysis.
7. Contribute at least 15 hours per week in delivering high-quality language data and analysis for the project.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Fluency in both Sherpa and English, with demonstrated proficiency in written and spoken communication for both languages.
2. Experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis, especially with video or audio content.
3. Skilled in capturing and articulating emotional context, speaker intent, and cultural nuances.
4. Background in language research, editing, or advanced linguistic studies is highly desirable.
5. Ability to critically assess grammar, tone, and conceptual aspects of language use.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, nuanced work.
7. Self-motivated and comfortable engaging independently on remote assignments.
