micro1 is engaging Specialized Industries Experts to participate in a project focused on testing AI-powered workflows for professional software and business systems across Government Contracting & Federal Acquisition, Commodities & Maritime, Nonprofit & Grants, and Education Operations. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Evaluate and test AI-driven workflows tailored to your area of industry expertise, providing actionable feedback on usability and accuracy.
2. Interact with large language models (LLMs) and AI agents to simulate real-world professional scenarios and decision-making processes.
3. Review and validate workflow outputs for correctness, completeness, and alignment with industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS for federal contracting).
4. Document edge cases, workflow gaps, or unrealistic scenarios encountered during platform interaction.
5. Utilize advanced AI tools such as ChatGPT Work, Codex, Claude Cowork, or similar to assess integration with workplace applications.
6. Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators, providing written insights and suggestions based on your observations.
7. Contribute recommendations to enhance workflow logic and support the development of practical, functional AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Substantial professional experience in one or more of the following: Government Contracting & Federal Acquisition, Commodities & Maritime Operations, Nonprofit & Grant Management, or Education & EdTech Operations.
2. Proficiency with workplace applications such as Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Notion, or sector-specific tools.
3. Direct experience using generative AI applications (e.g., ChatGPT Work, Codex, Claude Code, Claude Cowork) within professional contexts.
4. Ability to discern incomplete, incorrect, or impractical elements in professional workflows and relay clear, constructive feedback.
5. Hands-on familiarity with professional and industry-specific platforms, systems, or regulatory frameworks relevant to your field.
6. Strong written communication skills for documenting findings and recommendations.
7. Curiosity and adaptability in experimenting with new AI-powered platforms and processes.
