Description
Role Title: Criminal Lawyer

micro1 is engaging Criminal Lawyers to participate in a project for a valued customer, focused on innovative legal technology solutions. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Review and analyze legal documents, court filings, and case materials to provide subject matter input for AI system development.
- Draft, edit, or annotate sample legal scenarios, arguments, and opinions pertinent to criminal law.
- Evaluate AI-generated text for legal accuracy, clarity, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Identify and flag nuanced legal concepts and emerging issues in criminal law to enhance AI learning.
- Collaborate remotely with project managers and technical contributors to clarify requirements and deliverables.
- Offer concise, actionable feedback on AI outputs using clear, accurate written and verbal communication.
- Stay current with relevant statutes, case law, and procedural updates to maintain content relevance and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law, with demonstrated expertise in criminal law and procedure.
- Extensive experience representing clients in criminal matters, either in prosecution or defense.
- Proven ability to distill complex legal concepts into accessible, precise language.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Familiarity with reviewing, analyzing, or summarizing legal documents and case files.
- Adaptability to remote engagement and collaboration within digital platforms.
- Interest in legal technology or experience in interdisciplinary projects is a plus.
