Surge AI has some of the most intellectually demanding annotation work I have done — RLHF and content moderation for top AI labs. The pay reflects the expertise required and the team is strong. It is selective though — they look for advanced degrees and domain expertise. Work availability is not guaranteed week to week, which makes it hard to rely on as primary income.
